An inspection of your home’s plumbing and heating system can help you avoid costly repairs down the road, and best of all, our home inspection service is free to our residential customers.
The home inspection consists of recording your heating system’s manufacturer, model and evaluating its condition. Our goal is to ensure your comfort, convenience and safety during this inspection. We also assess the condition of your faucets, drainpipes, shut-off valves and any other plumbing equipment in the home.
During the inspection we measure the hot water temperature to ensure it meets the Massachusetts state plumbing codes, along with recording your home’s water pressure.
If we find any items needing repair or replacement, we will provide a written estimate for you, at which time you can decide what action to take, and budget accordingly to make repairs.
Even Dear Abby agrees: Knowing the location of your water shut-off valve is essential. In her Dec 23, 1997 column, Dear Abby advised readers to make sure their plumbing systems were in good working order. Apparently, most people take their system for granted, until a problem occurs. Be prepared.
